I am a "phone guy" newbie, so please excuse my ignorance.
I have a small Avaya system.

Problem:
On a select number of extensions, if a call is transfered or someone internally dials the problem extension it rings forever and doesn't go to the DuVoice voice mail system.
An outside call to a problem extension goes to voice mail as normal.

My experience and teleco verbage is limited so I may have over looked the answer on a previous post.

I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

Hi analogia22,
Look in system programming, #310 - auto vms coverage. Make sure it is active (1 = active) for each extension that needs it.

Thanks for the reply Chris,
I saw this #310 in my system manual. I thought maybe the "VMS" indicated the built-in (hardware) voice mail system from Avaya and not the DuVoice (software) voice mail system.
Is this wrong?
Secondly, if I do need to use this #310 how do I do it?

Feature>00>Sytem Programming>#310

Again, please excuse my ignorance. I have been a "computer guy" for a while but am slowly starting to wear the "phone guy" hat as well.

Hi analogia22,
Since the program is on the switch, it applies to hunt group 7, the vm group (I777). It tells the switch when to forward the call to the voice mail.
Yes, Feature 00, L int, L int, #310, ext#, (1 or 2 as the case may be). The manual covers this pretty well. Relax and have a read, these are easy switches to program.

Chris,

It worked. Thank you so much.
You're the best!
