Voice mail not picking up on private line

Help! I'm a newbie on this phone system, Norstar Startalk Flash version 1.9.00. I've inherited this system with no documentation, trying to find what I can online. Overall it is working but I have one phone that also has a private line from the outside. If someone calls our main business number and selects that ext., no problem, they can leave a message in that person's voice mail. If they call that same phone directly from the outside, I have it set to 3 rings, then it goes to the general mail box. How do I get it to go to that extension's mailbox?

Under Terminals and set/Capabilities check to see where that Ext is frwd to. Change it to the VM dn.

In the voice mail you need to assign the extention to the mailbox.
