we are currently running a Nortel BCM 400 and the executives here have their phones setup so that when their phones ring it also rings the executives assistants phones. This is done by adding the Executives DN's to the Answer DN's of the Executive Assistants. This seems to work fine but what is not working correctly is that when the Exec's are the phone and the EA's are on the phone and someone calls an Exec it will go to an EA's voice mail. I would not like this to happen. I would like the voice mail of Exec's to pick if this call is for them. Seems like when it rings multiple lines, whoevers voice mail kicks in first picks up the call.

Just make the EA's CFNA one ring more than the Ex.

Adversity is Opportunity

This is what I have done to resolve the issue when no one is on the phone an no one answers but in this case they are all on the phone and there is no rings it goes directly to voice mail, just not the right one.
