I went on a service call a few years back and the customer complained that she couldn't retrieve her voice mail messages after being prompted by the voice mail system to "press 3 to delete message" and then "# to confirm".
Because I am such a nice guy...I set up a phantom mailbox that all her messages would be copied to and automatically delete after seven days.
I told her, "If you delete the message a second time, there's not much else I can do for you."
