Is it possible to replace the user's voice mail greeting(system default) with a wave file? The user does not want to record his personal greeting and use Avaya default vm greeting.
Create the wav file, rename it UserName_1.wav, upload to the Greetings folder. Log into the User's mailbox, and activate Greeting No. 1 for all calls.
Or create a wav file of the User's name, rename it UserName.wav and upload to the Names folder. The system default greeting will play, but replace the extension number with the name recording
Since it is a specific wav format you may be better off to create a dummy user and record the name there and then move and rename it to the names folder for that user.
Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*
*(Disclaimer for all advise given)--'Version Dependent'
The one with the $ is usually only showing when the greeting is actively playing.
Sometimes it gets stuck there and shows even when the greeting doesn't play but that is not intended to be like that.
Thanks MoJHK
Was not clear to me when I read it first.
