Anybody know of an add-on which will perform basic auto-attendant and voice mail of some sort with an Tie/Nik Ultracom key system. I doubt that it will support any sort of integration.

Probably an old Tie Ultracom 2260B. What a wonderful system, you could do stupid contradictions in the programming overlay (1-49) which wouldn't let you out of programming unless you crashed the switch, leaving it for the next poor slob to find when he ventured on site to change the time for daylight savings time. Not to mention the fact it stopped processing calls while in programming at extn 10
They didn't have analog station cards so would have required a proprietary digital integration. I would doubt any voicemail system would support that type of integration. The forwarding to voicemail wouldn't work properly on a no-answer condition and may not even provide enough information to the voicemail system to sent it to the appropriate mailbox.
The system is an Ultracom AT (MH-2981(2) series 1 TN3-86.
I was hoping some sort of feedthru voicemail might work, where the phone system didn't even know about anything except CO lines coming from the VM box were plugged into it.

I was at a NEC DSX presentation this morning , the new dsx40 would be Ideal for you they have a 4x2x8 package with three display phones and built in two port auto attendant for cheap .
it hasn't been released yet but they do have stock and are shipping
call around and get some quotes .
the price might surprise you
(if you don't know , tie , became nitusko which merged with NEC ) so you would be keeping it in the family so to speak
I did some "kinda" vm on the tie TCX which was a contemporary of the ultracom that where never really satisfactory Evan if you did cobble something together it wouldn't really do what they expect .
telco will give you voice mail but no attendant features
