Voice Mail for extension not working

We have a Merlin Legend R3 processor with 2 408 GS/LS-MLX boards, and one 007 MLM voice mail with 2 voice mail ports.
One extension will no longer roll over to voice mail, and I have not changed or modified the system lately.

I have deleted and recreated the voicemail for the extension but it still will not roll over to voice mail.

Make sure the extention is in group coverage. Go to

http://support.avaya.com

and look under the legend FAQs I think it is There

I checked the system and I have one group and it's for our CSR's to answer that groups extension. I have read several threads regarding group 30, so I checked my system and I do not have a coverage group 30, but all extensions do have voicemail.

You may want to check the class of service on a working mailbox. If a working one is 4,5,6,11,12,or 13 you are using supervised transfers. It it rarely used but whom ever origionally put in the system may not known how to set it up the right way and just set it up so it works.

If you answer these questions It may help get an answer too.


1. When you SA Ring intercom an extention does it ring the phone and goto voicemail?

2. If you have a computer and use SPM or WinSPM did you do a printout of the calling groups etc.. to see if you can figure out how the calls are handled. you may want to check calling group 1 also. be sure to do an inspect to see the members if there are any

Checked the COS and that extension is the same as mine and several other extensions. Not able to do any printing, but have displayed all of the calling groups (1-30) and everything appears to be ok.
