When you phone ext 8000 and the person answers the phone and you then ask the person to transfer you to ext 7000, the person at ext 8000 puts down his phone and the phone now rings on ext 7000. The person on ext 7000 doesn’t answer his phone; his phone is set up to go to voice mail. But when no one answers the phone it goes back to the voice mail box of ext 8000. It is suppose to go to the voice mail box of 7000 and not 8000.

Thanks
Chris

That is not a problem, it is system design. The system doesn't know you dialed the wrong number so it sends it to the Vmail of the number YOU CALLED. Do as PERRYPJ said to do, that is the correct way to do what you want.

Doing it your way will send every call that is like that to go to the 2nd Vmail even though they wanted the 1st Vmailbox
