Heres the Situation:
The site i'm at is a remote location in CA connected to Call manager (in Belgium) via a cisco voice-gateway. We have 8 analog lines coming in directly to our office and have a local Unity Server running our auto attendant and Voice mail.
The Issue:
If someone calls in and hits the auto attendant and then is directed to an extension the voice quality is very poor and cuts in and out. Also when someone leaves a voice mail the voicemail cuts in and out.
If i set up the voice gateway to ring straight to an IP phone and bypass the auto attendant the voice quality is fine no jitter or anything. The problem seems to only happen once the call is routed through auto attendant.
anyone have any suggestions on what settings to check what to look for? any help is appreciated. Let me know if any more info is needed.
