Voice Editor – voice segments capability.

Symposium 5.0., M1 Opt.81, Meridian Mail rel. 13.

We have 58 voice segments created in our Voice Editor and recorded in MMail box – 22 minutes together. Now we need add at once next 30 segments (next 20 minutes).
My question is : isn’t there any capacity limit, if yes how many segments or minutes.
Or is it even key codes issue?

There is a limit on the length of the segments, but i don't think there is a limit to the number of segemnets.


we currently have 140 segments....

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

Per the CallPilot Advanced Voice Processing Setup, Section 4, Chapter 7, Page 15 of 58; "A maximum of 3000 voice items can be created in a single application."

There is no reference to the time limit.

Make sure your ACCESS voicemail box has enough storage minutes to handle it, you should be ok.

Currently our Mailbox storage limit is 60 minutes so we can record next announcements safely.

Mermail is spec'd for two files, 100 segments per file. Any more than that and NETS will not support the configuration. I know for a fact!!
