Hey everyone!
I have a MiVoice 250 system at a location in Oregon, we have 8 teleworkers at a remote location in Texas. The latency is within normal thresholds between the two locations, they both have cable 250/25 and 300/25 connections from Comcast and Spectrum.
We've had complaints that whenever someone calls into the main line, which transfers to the customer service center from Oregon to Texas, there is a serious delay in voice. Basically, from the time they pick the phone up, about 7 seconds will pass before any voice traffic is heard between both parties. This morning, I decided to test some DDIs to extensions and the voice delays are non-existent. The only time there is a voice delay is when the DDI goes to the ring group and rings all customer service phones.
MiVoice system is in Oregon on Comcast 250/25, 8 Teleworkers are in Texas on Spectrum 300/25 connection. I've forwarded all ports necessary at both locations. We have 2 other locations as well that do not have these problems. The only difference is the location having the problems is running the MiVoice 250, the other two locations are running the Mitel 5000 systems.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
