When using the Voice Call featue on Norstar is the volume louder on the called party end then a "normal" handsfree intercom call?
Thanks and Merry Christmas
Tom

Some folks might be startled by the tone preceding the voice output, and think the voice output is louder for that reason.

...just my $0.02....

Thanks! What is the best way to ensure that the speaker is always at the loudest setting?
Thanks
Tom

Raise the volume up on the bar when speaker phone is engaged.
That should do it.
Gabriel

right....but will it stay at that level?

the volume level is set to default at a preset system setting unless you change volume to "set" in programming.if not changed it will alway revert back...unless your working on a 8x24 ksu in that case it would allways default to the set setting

I thought that was only for the handset. I have played with the speaker phone volume with the setting on system and on set, and it did not change the volume.
Anyone?
Gabriel

maybe ...try it if you have not already

I thought I had replied to this once, but maybe my answer got nixed, or I didn't hit the submit key.

Anyway, Gabrial is correct, all volumes stay adjusted except for the handset. It used to be a safety issue when Norstar first came out. The other volume adjustments usually have to be re-adjusted if the system looses power.
