Voice Announce

Hi,

I want to be able to voice announce a call without waiting for the destination phone to pick up. I've seen it done but can't figure out how to do it.

I'm using a CICS w/ 7.1 software and 7316 and 7208 phones.

Use Feature 66, but if it doesn't work, go to the phone you are trying to reach and cancel voice call deny...F#88. If that person is on the phone, your voice call will come thru as an intercom call.

Also the sets must have Handsfree activated in Capabilities to recieve a voice call.

I like to label a button with the words INTERCOM and lable the line button with actual lines 1,2,3, ext.. You could also label it HANDSFREE then they do not have to do all the dialing just press the button and then an Internal dial button just two keystrokes.
