Vodavi STS Expansion Board

I'm trying to install an digital station expansion board in a customers Vodavi Starplus STS phone system. I have followed the install instructions I have found in the instructions that say how to seat the board and what slots to put it into but any phone attached to that board comes up with the LKD-24D V.06H on the first like and Scout-DX V1.1 OK SYNC on the second but does not go any further. I've gone as far as to factory default the system and still nothing. Does it sound like a bad card or am I missing something with the dip switches, etc. Basically the documentation that I have says to just put in the board and connect the phones. Any tips would be appreciated.

Assign the card type to the slot

ttech is correct. You need to assign the card type in system programming.

You have to set the baodr/slot programming in flash 23 or 24. then the digital board will be seen and become operable
