Have a customer who is looking to replace an Avaya Legend; the choices are down to the MICS/w Call Pilot and the Vodavi Infinity. Looking for a comparison of the two systems.
Thanks
Tom
From one who installed the infinite system for a while, disadvantages of the infinite are:
customer's cannot re-program buttons on phone, this is a central programming task.
Telephones default their button programming easily.
very sensitive to lightning in area.
the voicemail was not integrated with the system it was a secondary market add on.
4 wire telephones (polarity sensitive also)
as far as I know the infinite was manufactured discontinued a few years ago.
Software upgrades (there were many) were EPROM chip replacements.
Not trying to slam the infinite these are just some of the disadvantages that caused my company at the time to drop the infinite from their line.

Mind like a Steel trap - Once used forever clamped shut.
I used to sell Vodavi also. They have a long history of manufacture discontinues on everything they have ever made. The company and their product are junk in my book.
