Vodavi 616 EK MUL button

Here is a blast from the past. A customers home system is a Vodavi 616 EK. I can't find in the manual how to program line-4 from a mul button back to line-4. There is 1 phone that has L-4 on it appearing & ringing but no other. I can get into programming.
Checked for no privacy, no restrictions, but found no mention for designating as a multi function button.Also looked thru user guide.
Any help would be appreciated.

You should find button programming in station programming - usually flash 50 (try flash 40 as second choice). Like any other Vodavi, just rattle thru the buttons until you find "button programming". Sequence should be (BB1LL). You may need to experiment. When you find button programming, the button down one row and one column to the left is usually view button programming. Good luck.
