Hi,

Question regarding the compatability of two end-points
opt-11 rls3 with TIE to 81C rls 7.5.
TIE programmed with 1 DS0 as DCH.
All DID delivered to opt-11 via the TIE 81C (CP mail located at the 81C end for the opt-11)

After upgrade of 81C from 3.0 to 7.5 the TIE lost DCH communication. this was reestablished after changing both configs below to VCE. Original config below.

Have you experienced this issue with VCE/VOD mis-match. Or is the original config correct.
there was also a physical problem with DCH connectors at linecard/MSDL.

Comments appreciated.

Usually you want the same configs on both ends. The 3VCE gives you 3.1khz fax support. There could be some software issues since they are so far apart on the rls level.
