Having successfully connected to a remote PC, how does one get around the "three-finger-salute," control-alt-delete ??? I understand this technique was devised specifically to prevent remote access. But there must be a way to bring up the logon box and then logon. Right???

Thanks,
Mike

Run the VNC server as a service (instead of an app). This allows it to start before someone has logged on, so you will be able to connect when the logon screen is displayed.

Most flavors of the VNC viewer have an option on the menu to 'send ctrl-alt-del'.

If you have further questions, which version/flavor of VNC are you using?

mhkwood;

Thanks, that was an encouraging reply. My RealVNC does have some options in both Server and Viewer, but not a "Control/Alt/Delete" option.

I'll check out others; --you may have a favorite ?

Thanks again,
Mike

Thanks a lot, mhkwood !!! Works !!!
