VNC Viewer - rejected connection

Without reason my VNC hosts have started to pop-up an ACCEPT or REJECT dialog box each time a client trys to access them. Obiously, 'cause problems for the client. Servers are NT & 2000 and client is ME & 2000. Anyone know where the settings are to turn this off?
