Hi,
I would like to know if its possible to call netmeeting using vnc.
I have tried it but with no sucess.
When I try to connect I enter the IP address of the remote computer which has netmeeting running, and I get a dialog saying, 'Failed to to connect to server'.
I am writing a java application in which I would eventually like to use the desktop functionality of vnc. I think its probably easier to interface with VNC because there is already a Java version of it. The remote computer has to use netmeeting and not vnc.
Can Anyone help me?
thanks, Jim

The remote computer has to run VNC as it is an agent-server program. It needs VNC server to be running on the remote to connect. This works fine for any app installed on the remote computer.
