Hi anybody help!

If i put xp with service pack 2 and sysprep the machine and remove the file agpcpq from drivers i can then install onto my vmware.

I do the same again, but this time add the windows updates and it fails looking for the agpcpq.sys file. Any ideas how it gets back into the image or what this file does.

This image goes onto loads of different hardware platforms with no problem. Why the problem with VMware

Hi

Check the support hardware list on the VMWARE web site. They only support hardware from the big boys and only support SCSI drive in ESX.
