I've inherited boxes with 3 VM's of XP Pro SP2 with VMWare Tools, running on a host box with a 100MB Network Card. Only one VM is running at any given time, however all of the VM's have the generic AMD PCNET Family PCI Ethernet Adapter installed and only goto 10MB speed wise. Is there a way to change the speed to utilize 100MB as the host network card supports it and is set to 100MB Full Duplex. I can find no option under device manager for the card.

thanks in advance

Windows reports it at 10Mbs but this is not correct.
The driver is just a 'shim' between the VM and your host system. But if you want you can try switching to the vmxnet device in the VM config.
