VMSC - Auto Att - Holiday

I was asked to change the day of the holiday in the VMSC AA. Everything tried has yielded the same result:
"The date specified is invalid."

I have dup'd the problem on R2, R4 and just now on R5.2. The R2 & R5.2 are MSS backends (both at latest SP & rel) while the R4 is Exch backend running I think SP 3 patch 4.

All systems have AA enabled in the VMSC TUI.
Date & time are correct and in correct time zone, respectfully.
Even just opening the VMSC - AA then the holiday tab, without making any change whatsoever, yields this error. I can change many other fields on the 3 other tabs and is accepted, but once the holiday tab has been opened, the little animal growls back at me about an invalid date.

Is there a bit to turn on or enable in order to change the day?

On Service Pack 8 it states a fix for:
? wi00847464 - It is no longer possible to successfully enter dates for the Automated Attendant holidays, starting from January 1st 2011
