Hello,

I have an Elite 192 system with VMS(4) voicemail. A recent power outage caused its programming to revert to default. I've been able to restore my desired settings from backup via SAT upload. But my voicemail no longer picks up the phone.

I can still transfer callers to voicemail manually, and check messages. I can also connect to the VMS card via cosession. It just won't pick up an unanswered call.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks, belevedere. When I dial 43, the display read FWD BNA->[ ]. I filled that blank with the extension I dial to reach voicemail. However, the voicemail is still not picking up.

If I understand correctly, this is a per phone procedure. Is there a setting I need to change on the call arrival port, possibly through SAT?

Thanks!

Incoming trunk calls do not follow the station call forwarding unless they are transferred to the station. Incoming trunk calls can be directed to the VM pilot number using DIT/ANA 3-trf-42/43 assignments, or SIE call forward no answer setting. SIE call forward setting is done from the attendant phones, x100 or 101. The code is usually either 46 or 47. All or BNA.
