I have an extension programmed with a call forward button. When pressed, the button forwards calls to the user's cell phone, outside the Partner switch. That's working fine. The problem I'm having is that when someone at another extension tries to forward a call to the user's voice mail, using the "VMS transfer" button, the call gets forwarded to the cell phone instead of to the voice mail. I thought the VMS transfer went directly to voice mail regardless of any other settings on the phone. Am I wrong about this, or do I have to make some other change to allow the VMS transfer to work?
