I have a customer with a PACS R6.0 and PMessaging R1.0. All extensions are set to 3 rings for #321, but when calling extension 23/24 it rings 8 times before going to voicemail. All other extensions work fine. Is there any other feature that over-rides #321 or has the same effect as #321? Thanks in advance

Check auto VMS cover for those exts. It needs to be turned on for each ext. If it is going to the right mailbox after 8 rings, this may not be it though.
What cards are in the system, and in what order?

vms cover is on for them. It does go to the correct mailbox after 8 rings. They have a 308EC in the left slot, the PMessaging to the right of that, and then the PACS to the right of that. Just (3) cards. should be simple, but this wierd glich is happening.

Doublecheck VMS Cover Rings in #321, and do these extensions have "Call Cover" (Feature 20-XX-ZZ) turned on, covering calls to another extension before covering to voice mail?

Disengage the auto VMS COVER
change the VMS COVER RINGS to another number of rings.
reboot acs, if you have not already.

Then, change the above items back to the desired aettings. I have found sometimes, unprogramming and reprogramming can fix glitches. Check things like fax ext settings as well.
Might try deleting VM boxes and recreating as well. Otherwise, return the system to factory default settings, and reprogram. You could try using the restore function to reprogram, but that may bring the glitch back along with it. I would save this for a last resort.
