We have a customer with a VMPro V9. They have 2 emails accounts on the VMPro. A corporate email account on exchange server and I added a gmail account to test with. Both are functioning when I test a voicemail message and it comes to my email account (not on their domain) or even a gmail account that I own. I always get the voicemail message with wav file. No matter which mail server we use. Customer will not get any email via corporate mail address and when I switch it over the gmail account they do in fact get the email with wav file. The logs show mail delivery successful. Spam doesn't catch the messages.

Is it possible their corporate exchange mail server blocks / diverts / discards email coming from the VMPRO? Is that a feature that could be active on the mail server. I am not an email system expert.

What happens if you forward a WAV file from your email to the customer's email account? If it fails, then I'd say there is filtering in place (which the Monitor log wouldn't show).

Individual emails will arrive no issue. What I am learning is that customer has distribution email boxes setup to send email to multiple parties. It appears the distribution email will not send to both or all three users. From the Avaya system, email is working. Once it runs through the distribution email box, delivery is random. They are using a mimecast filter. I would to send to multiple users I suppose through teh avaya system. Can I do that with multiple hunt group members?

Oh good, so it's working! You can have voicemail coverage for a hunt group and turn on the Message Waiting Light for group members, but there's no equivalent option to trigger a series of email addresses. Are you suggesting that Mimecast "thinks" identical emails coming into multiple inboxes is spam? That would be weird. Otherwise, it would be tough to make company-wide announcements ("Suzy is retiring, everyone!" would look like spam). Is there a company email account that you could use instead? Or mailchimp? The problem seems like it lies beyond the IPO. So unless you're also the IT guy, you're off the hook.

I wish I could have auto copy to another mailbox like the old systems did. My other choice I believe is get another mail server involved. It's a medical practice and I don't know if I get so many different systems involved. Their IT dept is useless.

The hunt group idea is what I would like to test so I will work on that. Basically the hunt group will go to voicemail right away and notify all members in the hunt group by email. These are night time emergency mailboxes that notify a couple email addresses. That is a workaround I will have to try.
