$TARGET: Voicemail Pro 4.2+.
This variable contains the original target of a call received by the IP Office system, eg. the destination set by the IP Office's incoming call route.

Does anyone know how the original target is stored? We cant get a true/false to match any module name either using just the module name or VM:module name.

$TARGET was added for us as part of 4.2 as part of testing for integration with Exchange UM. It should be used to specify the extension of the user when a call covers to voicemail. Normally Voicemail Pro is only aware of the username not the extension number. $TARGET adds the extension number information. Or at least that was the original intention.

This information would be more useful if actually mentioned in the documentation I think, some of the explanations of VM functions are really poorly worded anyway even worse when info is completely omitted. :)
