does anyone know when a deleted account file is recreated?

stopping and restarting service does not nor does reboot of machine although overnight the account has been recreated.

is this part of housekeeping or is it magic?

I think the voice mail receives the information from the IPOffice database via TFTP I don't know what the timing is.

If you want to remove an account you need to remove the user from the IPO database.

[cheers]

On the system that I have it seems to pickup new users and user name changes within a few minutes of them being merged or fully rebooted to the IP Office.

Since the location of the VM is set in the IP Office, whenever relevant config changes are made it prompts the VM server to get the changes.

Housekeeping, as far as I been told, takes place after any 2 hours of idle (no calls in) on the Vm server.

:)
