I have my suspicions here, but only suspicions......
I have a 2-system SCN that was running R8.0 until I upgraded to 11.0. The IPO upgrade process has gone well. However, when it comes to the VM Pro upgrades, not so much. I'm pretty sure everything has been by the book, unless I missed something.
I exported the mdb and the Accounts, Names, Greetings and WAVS folders as per usual. I proceded upgrading VMP from 8.1 to 9.1 without issue. Then, I upgraded to 11.0.4600.3, imported the mdb, and replaced the folders mentioned above. I tried going to online mode and was given an error that the VM Pro service either did not exist, or was not running. When I went to the machine's Services, the VM Pro Service showed that it was "Started" with a startup type of "Automatic". However, there was no option to stop or restart the service. when I clicked on it, there was a message stating that it was slated for deletion (or something to that affect). After rebooting the PC (Windows 7 Machine), The VMPro Service had disappeared. I have only done a few VM Pro upgrades in my 15 years with IP Office, as I am in a pretty rural area with very few SCN customers. Any help would be appreciated
Sometimes, I feel like a kindergartner missing out on recess, because certain kids won't shut up and get in line.
