Hi guys,

We have customer that has existing IPO Essential edition R11.1 and they have installed VMpro R11.0 server in Windows server 2019 to setup IVR and to record calls.

Is there an issue having IPO 500 V2 R11.1 essentials edition with R11.0 version of VMpro?

yes, they do have Vmpro preferred edition license.

Why nog install application server of VM-ware of dedicated server?

They want it installed to the windows server environment.
Is there additional license needed if they will use application server?

No additional license needed for an Application Server. It is strongly suggested you go the Application Server route as any Windows platform will have issues of killing the VMPro service when updates occur. If they insist on having it on a Windows Server use Hyper-V and install it on a Virtual Machine.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Depending on your expected call volume you may want to get more VM channel license for the IVR.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*
*(Disclaimer for all advise given)--'Version Dependent'

If using application server. what version of centos needed for R11.1?

It installs its own. The IP Office software will replace anything already on the server.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
