anyone ever create a post dial short code that actives emergency announcments over paging and also one disables the post dial loop?

I don't think that you can interrupt a call in progress (paging, postdial, park and page etc. ) with another call into the vm.
Once that call is active it has to finish except if the trigger call stops.

Yes, I've done a few. The disable part, that's to prevent multiple announcements?

(BTW: These kind of setups should not be the primary alarm for something serious, like fire, attacks or robbery)
