Hi All.
I have an issue where someone didn't write down the vmpro passwords for the Administrator / admin / root when they set up the system.
The system is a 8.1.73 IP Office 500 v2, with an 8.1.x vmpro server.
Looking through the threads, I found this:
Within the thread, a user says to do the following:
When I go into the system that has the voicemail pro server on it, open Manager, I don't see a "Reset Security Settings". I have "Erase Security Setting (Default)" which might be what he meant. However I do NOT see the LINUX APP SERVER item, which I assume is the vmpro server, even when I try to get to it with the IP address.
Am I looking in the wrong place?
Regards

OK, I finally have this Avaya crap figured out. For the situation above that AntoineVella has, open Manager, click on File > Advanced > Reset Security Settings (default). Choose the LINUX APP SERVER and continue with the rest of the prompts.
Once complete, you do not need to reboot. Open browser and go to You can login with Administrator and Administrator. After login, you will be forced to change all of the passwords for the app server. Change them and you should be good to go.
Best of luck...
