Does anyone know how to do a hook flash transfer using voicemail pro? i need to utilize the "centrex transfer", well really i need to use the "local link" feature, they both work the same way. I have called avaya and they haven't got back to me in a week. The documentation just says that it can do it. It doesnt say how.

in a menu i want the number 1 to transfer to someones cell phone using the same line. I cannot occupy 2 trunks for this, i need to go out on the same trunk

Create an Assisted Transfer that dials say 8 and the number to be transferred. Must be an assisted transfer not a regular transfer.

The create a short code in manager of
8N;
Flash Hook
N

Does the semicolon matter? It didn't work. I can do it manually but when I do it with the assisted transfer it gives me a long warning tone

Have you gotten this to work yet? I am running into the same issue. I have it working part way, but it will never release the line for the IPO. So one line is always in use and maybe with the assisted transfer that's how it has to work.
