VMPro Caller Disconnects, script continues

I'm using a VM Pro module to handle help desk calls which uses conditional assisted transfers. If a caller hangs up before the call is answered, the assisted transfer continues anyway - following the rest of the script which leads to further assisted transfers if no one answers the first one, resulting in eventually someone picking up and hearing silence.

Is there any way to end the script when the caller hangs up?
 
I would think about ditching the assister transfer and simply stick with transfer for now. The assister transfer module has been buggy for quite some time now and it still seems fragile to me.

You describe one of its known failures exactly.
