G'day All

I would like to know how I might be able to do the following:

First I am running VMPro 2.0.17 with a database license.

I have have no problem reading a record based on the DMTF inputs ($key) This then returns 6 columns (DBD[0] ... DBD[5]. I what to then use the user set variables so I can use the information again in the flow after I open another Database that would be use for call tracking a billing. I tried to use the User Set Variable function IE Phone would be $DBD[0] The way I understand it is it should retain the setting of $DBD[0] so I can call that back later in the flow as phone..

How do I call is back $phone????

When I want to write this information to another database what do I need to do when I set the values for my insert?

Cheers

Rich

rsunra, look over the bookstore example module included in the documentation CD. You can actually import it and pore over it in your VMPro client.

Basically in a generic prompt you'll put CPx:$DBD[y] where x is 0-15 and y is 0-5. You can then refer to $CPx later in your callflow, or write it to another DB later.

cp0-cp9 work , but cp10-15 not work !!!! but to insert into table you may use a $CLI , but if tou tranfer that call you lost all variables !!! :(
