Hi,
I've got a VM Pro installation that is misbehaving - it works in all aspects apart from refusing to send emails to the Exchange server. In dbgview, I see this line:
CSMTPConnection::Connect: Could not connect to the SMTP server synapse.com on port 25.
Synapse.com is the email domain, not the mail server, so this is the problem; however in the VMPro control panel item, I've defined the SMTP server to be 192.168.1.100 - I've also defined this in the Voicemail Pro Client, so it appears that this is not getting committed. Is there a way around this, like manually setting it in the registry somewhere?
I've also tried using the MAPI setting to get around this, but this also fails, showing the following in the log:
Exception has occurred in CMAPIImpl::SendEmail (.\MAPIImpl.cpp[1196])
I'e heard VMPro MAPI is unreliable, so I'm happy to just use SMTP, but I'm also happy to use any solution that works! Outlook 2003 is installed on the server, so it is a supported MAPI client.
Thanks,
Will
