I have a VMP in an IPK...The system password has been lost..Cant the voice-mail be defaulted back on the dip-switches on the top of the card?..I know sw2 and sw4 in on position puts it in the maintiance mode..I think it's sw1 and sw3 on for default..not sure though...Thanks fou your help....

When you place the voicemail in maintence mode let it boot to the maintenance screen. Select the Archive/Dearchive system files option. De-archive the system files, and the default database. At this point you will need to go to hard drive maintenece and scan the hard drive, defrag, the run database maintence. Once you have done this, power off the VMP, place the DIP switches back, and then you can power back up the voicemail and test witht he default user ID
