Can someone tell me if vmo changes (like a change in minperm/maxperm) are written to a log file? I think some parameters were changed over the weekend...

vmo changes require root authority , perhaps if you check the command history for root , you will find sth.

(assuming default korn shell)

/.sh_history

or any hidden file containing the word hist in root dir

see env command and look for HIST

you need to run the command strings on it because it also contains binary data (record numbers and pointers)

You can check the su log
/var/adm/sulog

You can check the shell history
$HOME/.sh_history

You could also look at the /etc/tunables file ( I think ) to see when it last changed.
