Hi Gang

I have an IPLDK20 with ISDN2 and VMIB. Through CCR pg228 we have a mixture of options to extns or groups but one heading off to another site, basically pointing to a SPEED no. and going off-net. During the system out dialling to remote site, the caller here's the tones being dialled, is there a way to mask this by playing a "your call is being transfered" message, if so how, coz it's beating me!

Here is the list of prerecorded VMIB messages in ipLDK.

You need to check the prompt #083 that informs callers that they are being transferred.

They are recorded the same way as usual:

To record system greetings from Attendant;
1. Press the [TRANS/PGM] button and dial 0 6.
2. Dial the message number. Then you will hear the announcement “Press # button to record” If there is already a recorded message in the number dialed, the recorded message will be played.
3. Dial # to start recording. Start the recording after hearing the announcement “Record your message” and confirmation tone.
4. Or, dial * to record using external music port on the MPB.
5. Press the [HOLD/SAVE] button to finish recording. Then confirmation tone is heard and you can record the next one.
