Hello,

just wanted get some opinions on gateways, we are getting ready to push into Mitel on VMWare, ive done several vMAS installs but no vMCD. so i am little lost as to what hardware to go with for a PRI adn Analog Gateways.

I appreciate any suggestions!

Thanks!

For trunks you will need a CX(i) or MXE because the vMCD only does SIP trunks.
For analog devices you can use ATA's

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

If you want to use a vMCD I would just go with SIP trunks to eliminate the need for a gateway for trunks. If you have access to the SIP list that Mitel puts out you can find out what analog gateways they support and choose one of those although you could probably elimate analog all together with a bit of planning. ie fax servers etc

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
