We are working with EMC on upgrading from DMX 3000's in each of our data centers to VMAX. We are receiving conflicting information from EMC on how to setup the dual pathing for hosts on the VMAX. Some EMC people say to continue to use rule of 17 for dual pathed hosts, but other EMC people are saying they did away with that method, and apply the even/even odd/odd FA's together, such as 7e0/9e0 and 8f0/10f0.
