We upgraded our IPO and VM Pro (running on Linux platform) with the IPO R9.0.829 and Application Server for vm pro Version 9.0.0.0 Build 829. Since then, my voicemail to email has not worked. When I go into the voicemail pro client and check my smtp settings my Mail Domain under the SMPT Sender tab is changed to the internal IP address of our application server. Regardless of what I put in there, it changes it to that Mail Domain. I am not sure this is the problem, but I can use the same SMTP settings to send email via outlook or through our fax finder. Has anyone else had this problem?

We are experiencing the EXACT same issues, with the same equipment (Linux Apps server).

We use hosted Exchange.

The EXACT same settings work in the IPO box for alarms, but won't work on the Voicemail server--and it keeps resetting my domain to the IP of the Voicemail server.

I have the exact same problem
I am using the Linux voicemail pro. Version 9 and ipo version 9.
My domain kept changing back to the IP address of the Linux server.

I did get it to work but found out my DNS was not set correctly .
So I put in the correct DNS address in the web manage settings page and saved.
When the system rebooted the email worked.

Try upgrading to the latest Maintenance release (9.0.100-845)
if that fails refer the issue to Avaya (you do have IPOSS on this system don't you?)

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

@snowman -- When you say you didn't have the correct DNS, what do you mean? I currently have our internal DNS server set as the Apps server's DNS. Same DNS server all of the computers are using.

I didn't have the correct DNS entered.
I then used the one for the computers, same as you.
It was a mistake by me.
