Hi All,

I have a Merlin Magix v4 r7 with an MLM 007. I have it setup as follows:

Calling Group 770 (VMS) assigned Pool 70 (4 lines)
AA Delayed Answer
Group 771 with single member ext 10 (Operator)
Grp 771 Set as Overflow for Grp 770

My intention is to have the phones ring a few times, let AA answer if noone else does, play the AA greeting and then transfer back to ext 10 to let the VM pickup then notify someone their cell phone that there is a message. It does everything but go to VM. Ext 10 just rings. I created a Mailbox 10 and set the outbound calling.

How do I get VM to pickup? I have a feeling I'm not doing something right with the VM system. Thanks!

Take 10 out of 771

Take pool 70 away from 770, reassign to 771

Overflow 771 to 770, 99 calls and 20 seconds

Make mailbox 771 with COS 15

Set Call Answer Service Operator to 10

Add to to Cover Group 30, and make sure Calling Group covers group 30

Thanks, I did all that. I had just read this thread: thread689-1331637 that explained pretty much the same thing. I did not have the CAS operator set to 10, though. It was 770. It still just rings and no VM.....

So now here's my setup:
Group 770 is VM group with ext 26-37
Group 771 is empty group and overflows to 770
Coverage Group 30 has ext 10-24 and covers Grp 771
Pool 70 is my 4 incoming lines assigned to Grp 771
10 is the operator and CAS operator
Delay set to 99 calls, 20 secs as described
Mailbox 771 is COS 15

When you call in it rings a few times, AA picks up and then it goes to ext 10 (operator) but just keeps ringing.

I'm wondering if I setup the VM boxes correct. I created mailbox '10' for ext 10, etc. I've seen other posts where the mailbox numbers are XXXX? The disconnect seems to be between the ext and the VM boxes? When I set all ports to VM the same thing happened...the AA didn't answer and it went to ext 10 and just rang.

What am I missing (probably something small....always is!)

Thanks!

Coverage Group 30 has ext 10-24 and covers Grp 771

That should be 770[/]

Does 10 cover to voice mail if you just call it from another extension (using a SA-Ring button?)

Ok, I changed 30 to cover 770 and still no go. I tried dialling 10 directly from ext 12 and it just rang. Eventually 10 stopped ringing but 12 keep on ringing. Thanks.

Also, hopefully this is not a dumb question, but I just received a package from the place I bought the system and inside was a 400 GS/LS/TTR module. My current setup is this:

CKE4 Processor
2x 408 GS/LS/MLX
MLM 007

Could the 400 have something to do with it? Do I even need it?

Thanks, I got it to work. Turns out I had both Groups 1 and 30 covering. As soon as I removed Group 1 (duh) it worked fine.
