This forum has been VERY helpful.
I recently had to replace my 007MLM and my processor.
Processor went from Ver 6.0 to Ver 7.0.
I was able to get a current backup from the old processor, converted it through WinSPM and restored it on the new processor. I had to re-create all the mail boxes and messages.
My problem is this:
If you call an extension internally or are manually transfered, after 4 rings it goes to that users voice mail.
If you call in after hours and get the AutoAttendant (or get the AA directly through the backdoor number), transfer to any extension it rings and rings but never goes to Voice Mail.
Any suggestions?
All the set-up is pretty standard:
VM extension is 770
Call Group is 30

are your Vm calling group member ext set to rotary? If not, they won't transfer from the AA.

Thanks for the response jinxs, but I am a novice at this and will need a little clarification.
When you refer to "Vm call group member ext", do you mean the Calling Group Extension 770 or the Voice Mail Extentions assigned to that group (7124, 7125, 7126 & 7127)? Or are you refering to the extensions assigned to Call Group 30?
And by rotary, do you mean rotary vs. touch tone, or are you refering to Hunt Type (circular).
Thanks for you patience.

Sorry about that, I meant your member meaning the extensions assigned to the calling group. To change them it would be extensions-->more-->more-->rotaryenabl and then you enter your ext's...give it a shot

I have enabled the rotary dialing on the four voice mail ports (extensions 7214, 7125, 7126 and 7127). It didn't seem to make a diffence.
I have been playing around some more, and I notice that you when calling in after hours, if you press *T and THEN the extension, it does transfer. We did not have to press *T before (prior to replacing the 007MLM card). It's not a big deal to change the Day and Night Messages to instruct a caller to press *T, but now I am curious as to why it doesn't work like it did before.

What is your dial plan? If you dial plan is let's say 3000, you need to set selector code 3 to direct extension transfer. The way you do this is log into the administator m/b and then press 9, then do the following:

3 for auto-attd
(auto-attd number) usually 1
1 for day
2 for night
then select 2 to listen to the menu
it is either 1 for the promt or 2 for the defination. or vice versa.
select the one for the definition.
then it will go through all the selector codes
make sure the selector code that your ext start with is set to direct ext transfer.

You mentioned it was at night. You may want to check the Night Service settings to make sure coverage is not diabled during the night.
