We have upgraded a customer for IP500 V1 4.2 to IP500 V2 9.1.9 and we moved the VM Pro to a new Windows Server 2012. VM Pro and Email servers are seperate. We are having issues with VM to Email. We moved all settings from the previous VM Pro server to the new VM Pro server. We have tried multiple SMTP servers that we know work/ and are active. None of these scenarios will send VM to Email. Has anyone installed VM Pro and used VM to Email on a Server 2012? Below are the errors that we are receiving after initiating the debug.

Although this is not a fix, words of wisdom maybe. I stopped trying... I have hMail on a thumbdrive everywhere I go. Install hMail on the Server 2012, point the SMTP server settings to the localaddress with port 2525. Then configure hMail to do the heavy lifting.

Just my two cents

Been there, done that

I know manager changed the way they hashed passwords in 9.1 and caused issues with passwords. Manager would try to read it, fail, and then just blank the password. I am wondering if the same issue is happening here. You brought the settings from 4.2 (old hash) to 9.1 (new hash) and voicemail pro can not read the password so it sends it as blank(it can't read any of the smtp information here in fact). I would suggest deleting the smtp information and retyping it in with the same version client as server your running and see if that resolves the issue.

R8.1 Vmail to e-mail worked here after upgrading from W2008 to 2012 so I guess the issue is with R9
