I have an IP Office IP 500, ver 6.0 (8). The system is licensed for VMPRO. Is it understood that this IP500 will only support VM Pro 6.0? Would there be any compatibility between the IP500 ver 6.0(8) and the VM Pro 8.0?

The IP 500 platform will support IP Office R8 with an upgrade license. If you wish to use the R8 voicemail pro for some reason then you must also purchase the R8 upgrade license for your IP Office. Running mismatched VM and IPO will cause you nothing but problems.
