I have been recording some wavs for customer voicemail modules on 10.0.3 and 10.1 systems and have noticed that whether I use the VM Pro to ring an extension to do the recording or create a Playlist module to record wavs the first couple of seconds of every recording is silent and I know I have started speaking as soon as the beep.
I then noticed that if I started speaking just before the beep (on either method) the recording was still complete and the beginning silence was shorter.
Anyone else noticed this?
I have a website that I can use to remove the first two seconds so the speaking starts actually at the start of the recording, but this isn't a practical solution when some of the recordings are going to be changed by the end user every week.
