Hi
Haha, I don't even know how to describe this silly matter in a good way.

I have a customer with a deskphone answering calls from important customers. She is the only one answering calls in that huntgroup. (She speaks a certain language).

She has another phone (dect) that her co-workers use to contact her internally and externally so they don't keep the customers queuing when she might just be talking to her dad.

The deskphone and the dect has two completly different numbers and has nothing to do with eachother. The customer is very happy with this solution except she doesn't want the dect to ring if she's busy in the deskphone. :)

Is it possible to somehow in vmpro check if the deskphone is busy before it starts ringing on the dect-phone?

Ps. She doesn't want twinning, she doesn't manually want to mute the dect or enable DND. She just want it to work :)

Tjena Olle,

She speaks Klingon? [smile]

You need to block both internal and external from calling her directly, but only when talkin on another line...?
Should be possible, but I need to run that one in my lab first.
I'll see what I can do about it

Kind regards

Gunnar

Tjena! :)
Yeah klingon it is :)
Yes exactly. If ex. 500 is busy I wan't both internal/external calls to 600 to get busytone (or a sound-promt).

assume the base extension number of the DECT is 500, the desk phone is 600.
Delete user 500, now the DECT has the NoUser logged on and nobody can call to 500, it gives busy.
Create a new shortcode like *6500,500, DialPhysicalExtnByNumber
Creat a shortcode : 500, "500", Voicemail Collect
Create a new Module in VM Pro named 500. Add a assisted transfer action to extension 600 and set the time to 1 ( or 0 ) seconds and connect the NoAnswer result to a transfer action to *6500 and the Busy result to a disconnect action.
I know the 1 second will work but maybe 0 seconds as well.
It is not ideal but close...

I see!! But I will get problems making external calls from NoUser but that could be solved I guess..
Thanks in advance! Will do some testing tomorrow!

You always can login another user on the DECT which is always on DND

Yeah exactly. This solution works but it's a problem that it rings for a time in the deskphone.(You understand the type of customer she is just trying to solve this problem) :D
1 second rang less than 0.
I will present this solution next time I'm there. Thank you very much!
