One customer had VM Lite, and in the ICR for the main company number the calls were routed to a hunt group where the operator was a member. The operator had a shortcode configured for setting her hunt group into night service,so that she pressed it when she leaves company.
Now the company has upgraded to VM pro and had an auto attendant configured in the main number ICR.How can the operator change the auto attendant with one key press or a shortcode?

What we do here is a bit complicated:

1. Create 2 virtual users, let's call them USER_DAY and USER_NIGHT.

2. For USER_DAY we do an unconditional forward to the short code that runs the day auto attendant, for USER_NIGHT an unconditional forward to the short code that runs the night auto attendant.

3. Create two hunt groups, let's call them HUNT_DAY and HUNT_NIGHT. HUNT_DAY will have USER_DAY as its member and HUNT_NIGHT will have USER_NIGHT as its member.

4. Make HUNT_NIGHT as HUNT_DAY's fallback.

5. Program a button on a phone to change HUNT_DAY's status. Sometimes we associate HUNT_DAY with a time profile, depending on the customer's request.

Thank you very much, the user variable will work just fine for me,thank you again.
